Rama Marine supports the Revel Sailing Team of the University of Genoa

Rama Marine is pleased to announce a new collaboration with the University of Genoa – La Spezia University Campus, in support of the Revel Sailing Team.

The team, founded in 2023 out of a passion for the sea and sailing among students of Nautical Engineering, Yacht Design, and Nautical Product Design, now has over 50 members divided into different departments—including design, shipyard, and shore team—with the aim of combining academic training and practical experience.

After building “Alba”, a boat made from natural and recyclable fibers, and refitting “Corsara”, the skiff inherited from the previous team, the Revel Sailing Team is now looking ahead to the Sumoth Challenge, an international competition dedicated to innovation and sustainability at sea. This journey demonstrates the team’s ability to take on increasingly ambitious challenges and to approach sailing with a keen eye on the environment.

To provide concrete support for its activities, Rama Marine has decided to donate an HDEF 40 Hidea outboard engine, which will be fitted to the Shore Team’s dinghy. The Shore Team is responsible for providing direct support during training sessions and regattas, accompanying the boats at every stage of the trials.

With this collaboration, Rama Marine renews its commitment to promoting the values of research, passion, and sustainability, supporting young talents who represent the future of boating.
