Rama Motori showed up with many novelties at the latest edition of the EIMA exhibition, held Nov. 6-10 in Bologna, Italy.
Absolute stars were the next generation engines from John Deere. For the JD4 model, in particular, an absolute preview: Rama Motori showed at the fair, in collaboration with Ocmis Irrigazione S.p.A., the world’s first application of this new industrial engine, installed on an irrigation motor pump. Compared to its predecessor, the JD4 boasts increased torque, higher power density, better fuel economy and longer service intervals, all with a smaller footprint. EIMA was, moreover, the occasion for one more announcement regarding this product: the increased power output to 129 kW, instead of the 120 so far claimed.
Visitors were also able to take a closer look at the American brand’s other new engines: starting with the JD14, capable of offering more power per liter than the 13.5L configurations available on the market today, all enclosed in truly compact dimensions, to the JD18, John Deere’s highest-performing industrial engine, with unique features that make it ideal for a wide range of heavy-duty industrial applications. Finally, the JD9 model was presented with the Rama Motori Power Pack, also complete with Funk transmission.
Rounding out the offerings on display were other interesting products from the brands for which our company is a distributor: from PSI gas engines, to TEDOM biogas engines, to all the proposed solutions for machine electrification.
